A low cost technique for overdenture treatment is the transformation of Patient’s existing removable partial denture into a complete denture. It has an advantage that the patient is familiar with the denture, thus adaptation is likely to be uncomplicated. The first step in this procedure is to take an impression for relining the denture. Second is an alginate impression comprising the denture and the remaining natural teeth. The impression is filled with plaster, and the plaster teeth are removed from ensuing model.
