Loose Denture

Loose Denture

Question : It’s been a year since I visited my dentist. My denture is loose. What should I do?

Dentures Answer : You know what to do – visit your dentist. You probably need a denture reline. A denture usually requires a laboratory reline at least once every six to eighteen months due to functional wear and/or continued bone resorption.

Bone resorption will continue throughout your lifetime making denture reline and rebase as important aspect of denture wearing.

In Denture Reline, pink plastic will be added to fill in the gap between the denture and your gums so that the denture actually fits your gums again.
